How You Can Make Mothers Day Special Everyday For Your Mom?

We thought we would share some ideas on how to make Mother’s Day special for your mom every day because, let’s be real, our moms deserve that kind of love and appreciation all the time, not just on one day of the year!

  1. Take a moment each day to tell your mom how much you appreciate her. It could be a simple "thank you" for her love, support, and all the things she does for you. 
  2. Tell her "I love you" every day. And don't just say it, show it through your actions too.
  3. Cooking her favourite meal every once in a while or even just helping out with the chores without being asked can make a huge difference.
  4. Spend some quality time with your mom doing something she loves. It could be watching her favourite TV show together, going for a walk, or just sitting and chatting over a cup of tea.
  5. Sometimes, all your mom needs is a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on. Be there for her during tough times and offer your support and understanding.

Showing love and appreciation for your mom shouldn't be limited to just one day a year. Let's make every day Mother's Day!

How Do You Protect Yourself from Pollen Allergies?

So, it's that time of the year again - pollen season. And for those of us who are allergic to pollen, it can be a real hassle. If you find yourself constantly sneezing, sniffling, or battling itchy eyes whenever you step outside, don't worry, here are 5 easy ways to  protect yourself if you are allergic to pollen.

Check the pollen forecast: Before you step out, take a quick look at the pollen forecast for the day. This way, you can plan your outdoor activities when pollen levels are lower.

Try Nasal Rinse: Nasal rinses can help flush out pollen and other allergens from your nasal passages, providing relief from congestion and irritation.

Keep windows closed: As tempting as it is to let in the fresh air, keeping your windows closed, especially during high pollen count days, can help minimise your exposure.

Shower and change clothes after being outdoors: When you come back inside after spending time outside, take a quick shower and change into fresh clothes to wash away any pollen that may have accumulated on your skin and clothes.

Use air purifiers: Investing in a good air purifier for your home can help remove pollen particles from the air, making it easier for you to breathe indoors.

Refresh Your Eyes: Simple Exercises for Screen Fatigue

Let's talk about something we've all probably experienced at some point: tired eyes from staring at screens for too long. Whether it's from work, studying, or binge-watching our favourite shows, our eyes can definitely feel the strain..

Here are 5 simple exercises you can do to refresh your tired eyes and give them a much-needed break.

Palming: Rub your palms together to generate heat, then gently cup them over your closed eyes without applying pressure. Relax in this position for 1-2 minutes, allowing your eyes to rest.

Eye Rolling: Roll your eyes gently in a circular motion, both clockwise and counterclockwise. This helps to lubricate the eyes and relieve tension.

Blinking: Sounds simple, but when we're focused on screens, we tend to blink less frequently, leading to dry eyes. Consciously make an effort to blink frequently to maintain moisture in your eyes.

Focus Shifting: Hold a pen or finger at arm's length and focus on it. Then, slowly bring it closer to your nose, maintaining focus. Repeat this motion several times to exercise your eye muscles.

Eye Massage: Gently massage your temples and the area around your eyes in a circular motion using your fingertips. This helps improve circulation and reduce tension.
